Tackling stress and anxiety, one experiment at a time.

“Remain in your seats, I beg you! We are not children here, we are scientists! I assure you there is nothing to fear!”- Gene Wilder, Young Frankenstein

Hello dear BVs,
I’ve been building the marketplace like crazy over here. Figuring it out has been a wild experiment. It’s not one I could have predicted. (I’m not a big shopper. I get impatient and impetuous in stores, like a little kid.)
On top of my own feelings about shopping, I don’t think anyone needs to spend money to feel better or to learn to ride the wave of anxiety.
As I started to add up my costs for running the BV, however, one thing became clear: I had to figure out a way to break even (at least) while working on this project.
"What concerns me is the preservation of life!"
"What concerns me is the preservation of life!"
So I set out to create another form of community: a place where like-minded sellers can share their products with readers looking for new approaches to stress, anxiety, and overthinking relief. My financial goal is simple. I want to recoup my hosting costs. I’ll be posting my progress in the forums.
As I started to build I got more and more excited about the marketplace. It’s fun to discover people solving problems in creative ways (like Megan Wan, inventor of a new, cool-looking pillbox or William O. Pate II, creator of Keep San Antonio Sane).
Though the store officially launches June 1, since you are you, here’s a sneak peak:
