“Strange as it may seem, I still hope for the best, even though the best, like an interesting piece of mail, so rarely arrives, and even when it does it can be lost so easily.” - Daniel Handler as Lemony Snicket

Hello friends,
Today is the official launch day of the Beautiful Voyager Marketplace. I’ve already told you about the marketplace and why I’m creating it, so I won’t get into that now.
Instead, let’s talk about how scary it can be to hit send. I’ve been feeling that fear a lot this week as I write press releases and sending out emails to big groups (ugh). All of this sending makes a person feel overexposed.
Like Buster Bluth.
Here’s how I deal with that fear: I remind myself that most people only look at what I write for about 10 seconds. While I may be scrutinizing every word of this email, you, most likely, are not.
I then remind myself that building new things may make me vulnerable, but it also connects me to the world. If someone were to send me an email like this, I would cheer them on.
Ultimately, I imagine you all cheering me on today. And that helps.
Thank you for celebrating today with me,
Love, Meredith
